Wmic List all Installed Software


From Command line run:

wmic /node:localhost /output:d:\programlist.htm product get name,version /format:htable.xsl

The output will be like this.

    When I run this command I get the following message:
    Invalid XSL format (or) file name.

      If this error upears “Invalid XSL format (or) file name.”.

      Just Copy *.xsl from *\Windows\system32\wbem\en-US\ to *\Windows\system32.

        cool stuff; will save me some time; but doesn’t show all software (e.g. nmap shows up in “add/remove software but not in the list).

    Well I don’t know what format is xsl neither does the computer . however xls is excel sheet format. Well removing /format:htable.xsl from the above code works for me. Thanks any way.
