How to manage local RDP sessions


You can mange your sessions with command line or Management console

Command Line:

list sessions:

C:\>query session
 SESSIONNAME       USERNAME       ID      STATE   TYPE        DEVICE
 console                          0       Conn    wdcon
 rdp-tcp                          65536   Listen  rdpwd
>rdp-tcp#6         %username%     2       Active  rdpwd
 rdp-tcp#7         %username%     1       Active  rdpwd

Reset Sessions:

C:\>reset session 1

C:\>query session
 SESSIONNAME       USERNAME     ID        STATE   TYPE        DEVICE
 console                        0         Conn    wdcon
 rdp-tcp                        65536     Listen  rdpwd
>rdp-tcp#6         %username%   2         Active  rdpwd

Microsoft Management Console

In  command prompt type tsadmin, or in the Run Line in the windows Start.
