Wmic – manage pagefile


You can mange your pagefile with the wmic commad.

List information about paging file

C:\>wmic  pagefile list
AllocatedBaseSize  CurrentUsage  Description      InstallDate                Name             PeakUsage  Status  TempPageFile
256                200           C:\pagefile.sys  20111024150101.888020+060  C:\pagefile.sys  205                FALSE

C:\>wmic  pagefile list full

Setting up paging File.

C:\>wmic pagefileset set name="c:\\pagefile.sys",InitialSize=1024,MaximumSize=2048
