HITACHI HDLM Command Prompt

Some times GUI are very useful but other times take to much time and resources, so using command line tools are always a solution.

In this case I need to list all the disks visible to a certain Server, and to execute this operation I will use dlnkmgr.exe

C:\Program Files\HITACHI>cd DynamicLinkManager
C:\Program Files\HITACHI\DynamicLinkManager>cd bin
C:\Program Files\HITACHI\DynamicLinkManager\bin>dlnkmgr.exe help
 dlnkmgr:
 Format
 dlnkmgr { clear | help | offline | online | set | view }

One Response to HITACHI HDLM Command Prompt

  1. Jagan Kondapalli says:

    This is a great article! We use mount points in our prod environment. I don’t see disk numbers when I use dlnkmgr.exe view -path.

    Is there a easy way to display disk numbers?

    Thanks
