Dell Idrac Default user and password

At a few days ago I had to use Idrac to check a Dell server, and did not knew the password and user, there is a default user and password.
The default user is root, and the default password is calvin.
Hope that this information can be useful.

We recently hired a company to help put our first Dell server in… and iDRAC was not configured. You just saved me a bunch of time – and possibly a big headache should anyone have stumbled upon the interface and decided to muck about.

Even though we had changed the password in our organization, if you update the iDrac, the password resets to the default. Thanks for the info.

Even after a proper reset – the idrac finally visible.. the default login did NOT work – i rebooted the system – and forced a new user/pw – to no avail – does this eventually imply that the idrac has an issue.. that cannot be resolved without replacement ?
